Project Statement

This poetry booklet is an entirely self-sourced work of photography, poems and design. It collects and showcases poems written by me over the years, accompanying them with images taken with my iPhone; which have been edited and manipulated to provide an otherwordly effect.

Reflection

It was a valuable learning experience to finally place my own words onto the page and integrate them with my design practice, creating a publication that brings together my literary and visual interests. The image-making process was particularly interesting; transforming photographs taken on my everyday iPhone into images that feel intimate and at home deepened my understanding of how design can elevate personal material.
